Aspen is for freelance sign language interpreters. Set up each client once, with its rates, minimums, rounding and cancellation rules. Then add a job with the client and the times, and Aspen works out what it bills. You never type the pay. After the job, close it out, and Aspen tells you when it is time to invoice and when a payment is late.

Jobs and billing

This Week shows your next job with a countdown, the rest of the week, and anything waiting on you.
On-site, VRI and translation jobs, billed per hour, video minute, word, or a flat fee.
Rates by days and times, holidays or setting, with minimums, rounding, travel and a notice window for cancellations.
Every job shows its amount as a short receipt, so you can see how it was worked out.
PDF invoices you email from the app, or submissions to an agency’s own portal, tracked until they are paid.

Miles, expenses and reminders

On iPhone, track a drive by GPS, with a Live Activity on the Lock Screen.
Log the round trip when you close out a job, and export your mileage as a spreadsheet.
Expenses with a photo of the receipt; Aspen reads the amount and date from the picture.
Jobs go on a work calendar of your choice, and calendar events can become jobs.
Reminders to close out, invoice and follow up, which show on your Apple Watch too.
Your records sync between your devices through your own iCloud, and work offline.
