Common questions
How does rounding work?
Each session is rounded when you stop it, to the nearest 15, 30 or 60 minutes (Settings, Round to), and never below one step. An exact halfway point rounds up. The exact start and end are kept, so changing the setting recalculates past sessions.
Why does my month show leftover minutes?
You report whole hours. Minutes left over carry into next month, and reset on 1 September with the new service year.
How is credit counted?
Assignment credit counts until your field hours plus credit reach 55 for the month. School credit is added on top. The month summary shows credit entered and credit counted, so you can see what was trimmed.
What is the bank?
For regular pioneers, hours over 50 in a month are saved and cover a shortfall in a later month of the same service year. It’s a tracking aid only; it never changes the hours you report.
How do I set auxiliary or regular?
Open Settings from the gear on the Time tab. Turn on Regular pioneer and set your start date, or tap a month to make it Auxiliary.
I forgot to stop the timer.
Juniper reminds you after four hours (you can change this in Settings). To fix a session, tap See All on the Time tab and edit its start and end.
My data isn’t on my new iPhone.
Juniper keeps your data in your own iCloud. Check that both iPhones are signed in to the same Apple Account with iCloud on, then open Juniper and give it a minute.
A contact isn’t on the map.
Juniper places contacts from their address. Check the address is complete, including the town, and that the contact is Active.
