Juniper privacy policy
Juniper does not collect, store, share or sell any information about you. It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and we run no server that it talks to.
What stays on your iPhone
- Your time. Sessions, credit hours, month statuses and your appointment date.
- Your contacts. The names, addresses, phone numbers and notes you enter for return visits and Bible studies, with their visit and study logs. Juniper does not read the Contacts app.
- Reminders for next visits and the forgot-to-stop alert are local notifications scheduled on the device.
The widget and Live Activity read a copy of the timer and this month’s numbers, kept on the same device. None of this is sent to us.
Maps and location
To put a contact on the map, Juniper sends the address you typed to Apple to find its location. On the Map tab it can show where you are, if you allow it while the app is in use; your location is not stored or sent anywhere by Juniper. Directions open in Apple Maps. Apple handles these under Apple’s privacy policy.
iCloud
If you are signed in to iCloud, your data is kept in your own private iCloud storage so it follows you to a new iPhone. Only your devices signed in to your Apple Account can read it; we can’t see it. If iCloud is off, the data stays on the device only.
What Apple may collect
Apple handles the download and, if you have agreed to it in your device’s settings, may share anonymous crash and usage reports with developers. That is governed by Apple’s privacy policy. Email you choose to send us reaches us with whatever you put in it; we use it only to answer you.
Children
Juniper collects nothing from anyone, including children.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date. Juniper is made by Pronghorn Labs, part of Prairie Fire, LLC, in Colorado. Questions: hello@pronghornlabs.net.
